I know that some states have a year to finalize and most six months. I realize the finalization time in Florida is less than six months. Are there any other states like Florida that are less than six months? Thanks
I've been away from these forums for several months, but have been acquainted with adoption in many ways. My info may be dated, I'll admit, but it seems to me I recall Arkansas has a very short adoption finalization time. (Seems like 30 days?). You can access all fifty states' adoption laws by looking at this website: childwelfare.
There are other topics you may look up on the same site, but to deal with adoption, you'll need to scroll down to the very bottom of the page. I've found this site to be the most up to date.
Hope this helps....
Sincerely,
Linny
