Have you seen the articles floating around about Angelina Jolie's daughter Zahara's birth mom? Here's one - It seems really strange that Angelina Jolie hasn't responded. Have you heard anything at all about her perspective on open adoption? Seems like this is an issue that doesn't come up often in international adoptions.

Oh man, I just read through this and my heart hurts. It tightened through the whole thing. I am very sad for everyone involved. I think there is so much richness and joy being missed with Angelina ignoring her daughters birth mom. I think there could be so much beauty. But instead there is pain.

It's a tough situation. I have 2 birth mothers and I've never stood in the way of their relationship with my sons.. and they both turned on me.
