I totally get what you are saying, I am an only child, my mother had no intention of her child coming to find her, yet here she came, totally disrupted our lives, and well there's not enough energy tonight to even write about it. You are dead on, and no matter what Oprah type moment people want to give it, it's just not there for me. How can we connect? You have saved me from thinking I am this horrible terrible person who is not on the rainbow and sunshine road. Thank you. No disrespect to adoptees. my situation, as is each of yours, deserves to be looked at within it's own light and judged by it's own merits.
