Looking for Birth Mother

Hello. I too was born in Grande Prairie, and have had excellent luck by getting my birth name and adoption record form the provincial registry, and then using the internet to search the Grande Prairie newspaper online. There happened to be a death in the family, by which I could trace everyone else. I hope this helps a tiny bit. Good luck!

They have recently passed a bill opening records in Alberta, I am not to sure how long it will take to proccess the bill but would be a good idea to phone vital statistics and ask. formerly a_mothers_love
