Here is my question:
We are green-card holders residing in Texas and own a home. We would like to adopt 2 kids from India as we ourselves are from India.
Can you pl. let me know what needs to be done, how much it might cost ( ball park) and how much time does it take ?

Go to the Home Page of this website, you will see on the left side of the screen their is a link to International Adoption. When the screen change, scroll down and you will see the search box and then go to India.
Try to contact an adoption agency (there is no harm on trying) in this website too. And ask them the procedure/fee or everything.
But please don't stop reading about adoption in India, and check the US Immigration website too. [url]www.ins.gov[/url] and look for the form I600A / I600.
You need to know the US Policy/Procedure, India Policy/Procedure and the Strategy of your chosen Adoption Agency.
