I adopted a 2 y/o boy less than a year ago. My social worker gave me all this paperwork to fill out for subsidy. She told me the amount of money I will receive a month and the type of medical coverage my son would receive. After the aoption was final she told me she did the paperwork wrong and I won't receive anything. So now my son is 3 and daycare is killing me. Is there anything I can do to reverse what has happened.

I learned the hard way that you can not just believe that what a social worker says is final. If I were you I would first get her to explain the reason that her error would disqualify you from a subsidy that is rightfully yours. Of course I would say it in nicer terms. :D If you did not get any where with her, ask to speak to her supervisor. It seems that this should be remedied since it was not your fault. You have to speak loudly about this. You have to let them know that something needs to be done about this.
