We have completed our homestudy. There was no contract signed and we were verbally told that we dont have to pay for it until the placement of a child. Of course after the homestudy was completed they demanded money. Well we refuse to pay until the placement/finalization of an adoption takes place. They need me to type up something saying that we will pay once finalization occurs but I just dont know how to word it? We DO NOT want to pay until we have our baby in our home and its final. And will this be legally binding? Can someone help me figure this out. Thanks
