I'm really sorry your unhappy. Families have rules. As the mother of several teens I can tell you that they don't always like the rules I set for them either. You don't get to pick another family because you don't like the rules. You're not that far from 18 and since your grades are good, you probably qualify for a scholarship for collage.
When was the last time you told your parents you loved them?
Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but there are so many kids who would give anything to have what you have.

You're at a tough age! Try talking to them, and tell them you need more free time. Are you sure you want to be adopted?? It may not solve the problem.
I am so sorry you feel this way, I think you should make 2 copies of the letter you wrote and put one under each of your parents pillows.
There is nothing wrong with their rules, but you seem like a reasonable young person, let the words of your letter be the start of communication with them.
