update to our whirlwind

Well, our birthmother changed her mind AGAIN after promising us that she wouldn't change her mind again!! We ended our "get-away" a day early last Friday because our caseworker called us and said that the birthmother wants us to take S*** back. We picked up S*** Friday afternoon and 3 days later (MON.) our caseworker calls to set up a time to update our homestudy. She calls back no more than 30 minutes later stating that the preg. counsler feels that the birthmom has no intention on going through with the adoption plan:( So I call a friend from our support group and she suggested to call the birthmom to "chit-chat". So I did and the birthmom stated that the birthdad had a change of heart. I feel that she is the one who had a change of heart and just wants to blame the birthfather. Anyway, we had to return S*** back to the agency on Tues.:( I told our caseworker the only way we would consider taking S*** back is if the birthmom would put him into fostercare until she went to court.:(
