i was wondering. i live in the state of south dakota and a friend of mine lives in the state of south dakota.. we both have 5 year old sons.. my sons father hasnt seen him in over a year.. no child support order in effect.. and my friends son hasnt seen his father since he has been about 6 months old.. again with no child support in effect.. and even to go a bit more on her.. no paternety established either.. but she knows who the father is..and he knows he is the father.
what i was wondering is.. what is the statute of limitations on abandonment for these kids in these states.. if someone could answer my question. i would really appreciate it.
