Saved From Burning Home

Foster caregivers and sisters, Melanee and Joyce Reese, courageously saved their three adopted and three foster children when their home caught on fire. With flames and smoke coming from the downstairs, Joyce carefully dropped their foster infant onto the porch roof and then jumped down herself from the burning home.

All of the residents in the burning home survived, but their third sister has since been hospitalized after having gone into cardiac arrest.

Fundraisers to help the family get new housing are being organized. The family is very grateful to know they have a community who stands behind them to help them.
