Research Opportunity For Birth Mothers
Calling All Birth Mothers
Throughout the years, birth mother voices have been amplified in the adoption community. In an attempt to continue improving the quality of life of the adoption triad throughout the adoption process, BraveLove and NCFA are working together to facilitate a research project on birth mothers and the adoption experience.
Who Can Participate?
Birth mothers who are 18+ years of age are invited to participate in one of the multiple focus groups led by University researchers. Focus group sessions will be meeting over Zoom and are expected to last two hours. Topics scheduled for discussion in these focus groups will include experiences before, during, and after adoption, adoption plans, and adoption stigmas. Participants will receive a $50 gift card.
