Priscilla Presley
Presley was born Priscilla Ann Wagner in Brooklyn to a US Army lieutenant and his wife, James and Anne Wagner. Her father died in a plane crash when she was a baby. Her mother remarried, another Army man, Joseph Paul Beaulieu, and they were posted to Germany, where she grew up.
Her step-father adopted her. She was not told about her birth father until she was a teenager.
When she was 14 she met Elvis Presley, also stationed in Germany, and they were married in 1967, but divorced in 1973.
In 1978 she began an acting career on TV and in the movies, and since 1979 has been on the board of trustees overseeing the commercial exploitation of Elvis' name and Graceland, his Memphis home and theme park.
