In 2011, U.S. citizens adopted one children from Belarus. Once the program re-opens, the children available for adoption will likely include boys and girls, ages 6 months to 16 years, healthy and special needs. These children reside in orphanages. Since visa processing in completed in Poland, a trip to Warsaw is necessary once formalities are completed in Belarus.
