Marcia Wallace is from Creston, Iowa. She was a part of "The Fourth Wall" improvisational comedy group who performed off-Broadway before being signed for The Bob Newhart Show. Wallace is best known for her roles as "Carol Kester Bondurant" on the 1972 television series and as the voice of "Mrs. Edna Krabappel" on the animated series The Simpsons.
