John has many interests, including Legos, playing in the pool, Pokémon, riding in Side by Sides, going out on boats, making crafts, coloring, painting, going out to eat, going on trips, and listening to music (his favorite genre of music is alternative). His favorite animal is a cat and his favorite color is green. Like any teenage boy, he loves pizza, but he also enjoys eating spaghetti and desserts; his least favorite food is vegetables. John enjoys going to church (Assembly of God) and especially enjoys his youth group. John also enjoys laughing along with funny videos and he enjoys spending time, including celebrating all holidays, with his brother. One day, John would like to visit New York - seeing the Statue of Liberty is currently on his bucket list. In the future, he would like to have a high paying job as an adult; he's unsure if he'd like kids or getting married later down the road. Currently he helps around the house by completing chores such as bringing in groceries. If John had three wishes, he'd "want a car, to live a long life, and to make sure that he and his brother stay together". If there's one thing he'd like everyone to know about him, it's that "I'm very smart, but I'm not talkative". He would also like a future family to know that he is "creative, excited to grow and learn new things, and experience new adventures". His current life goals are to find a forever home with his brother. John would describe himself as "gentle, funny, and kind" and he likes that he is "funny, kind, and artistic". His caregiver states that he is "extremely talented at arts and crafts and is interested in cooking". His caregiver also states that "He is shy and not as talkative as most other children are at his age but when he allows his personality to come out it's like a burst of sunshine". They also describe him as a "kind, gentle soul" who enjoys time to himself but occasionally will "eat up being the center of attention".
