Chance

from Idaho

We’re so excited to introduce you to Chance, a resilient teen with a ton of fun interests and goals! Chance is described by those who know him best as a lovable, caring and kind person. He considers himself an empath and always tries to be present for others when they’re in need. Chance loves to go for walks; hang out with friends; read fiction books like the Percy Jackson series; and listen to an eclectic mix of music, with his current favorites being One Republic, Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead. Playing card and board games like Go Fish, Sorry, checkers, chess and Dungeons and Dragons are a few of the things that he likes to do when spending time with family or friends. Chance is also a very creative, super talented artist! He really enjoys diamond art, making dream catchers, drawing and is especially good at beading! He would love to turn his artistic talent into a career and has big aspirations of going to college to get an Art degree someday. Finding an adoptive family who loves and values him for all of his wonderful qualities is at the top of Chance’s wish list. He dreams of having his own room and time spent together doing everyday things like watching movies, shopping, going to the park, getting Chinese food, taking family vacations and trying new things like maybe experiencing a Circus for the first time! Chance’s favorite part about school, other than Art class, is studying the history of ancient civilizations like Rome and Egypt, and he yearns for the normalcy of just having someone that he can ask to sit with him and help him with his homework. Chance is great with animals and with other kids in the home. He and his team are open to any kind of family make-up and are also open to hearing from out of state families, as well as those in Idaho. Parents with a strong understanding of trauma, grief and loss, who can be a strong educational advocate for him, will really help this deserving teen to continue on his journey of healing so that he can achieve everything that he dreams of for his future. If you have room in your heart and your home and would love to have the privilege of calling this incredible teen a part of your family, we look forward to receiving your inquiry about Chance today!
