Meet Leila, a thoughtful teen with a huge passion for all things art related! Leila loves to draw anything really, but especially pictures of people. Aside from drawing, Leila also enjoys other artistic outlets like woodburning and painting and is excited about the possibility of finding a Forever Family who shares her love of being creative and might want to do things with her like having paint nights together. This talented teen can also play the clarinet, the guitar and the Ukelele! Leila hopes to one day become an animator or some other type of digital artist. If you’re not great at art, no worries, Leila is a well-rounded girl who has many more interests as well, some of which include taking long walks in town; going to parks; swimming; shopping; listening to all kinds of music; playing video games like Minecraft, Legend of Zelda and traveling. Leila is really looking forward to being part of a family who values things like eating meals together and having family game nights. Leila describes the right fit for her as a parent who is protective, nurturing, and a good communicator-someone who is patient and who will sit down with her and calmly talk things through when struggles arise for her. Leila’s Permanency Team adds that the ideal fit for Leila would be a family where she might be the only child in the home, however they are open to exploring homes with other children as well. Leila and her team are open to most any kind of parental make-up and feel that she could do especially well in a single Mom or 2 Mom home, or a Mom/Dad home with a Dad who isn’t a super authoritative parent. They are open to hearing from Idaho families, as well as out of state families, and are seeking a family who will support Leila in her ongoing relationship with her birth siblings. Parents with strong trauma knowledge or experience, and good trauma informed parenting skills, will be vital to helping Leila continue to process her past hurts and move forward towards the amazing future she deserves. Leila is ready to begin her new life and is really excited about the possibility that the right family for her will come along and provide her with all of the love, stability, understanding, acceptance and commitment that she’s always dreamed of having in her life. If your family could be the right match for this incredible teen, we encourage you to inquire about Leila today!
