If you love the sport of Soccer and can envision yourself as the all-in family who’s up for practicing soccer drills, watching the World Cup and spending time on the sidelines cheering on your daughter, Lileana may make an amazing addition to your family! Lily, as she likes to go by, currently has a real passion for all things soccer related and hopes to become skilled enough to one day play it professionally. With a love for being outdoors and active in general, Lily also likes to throw a football around with friends and to do family things like camping and traveling. Trying out the sport of cheerleading is also on her to-do list. This adventurous girl dreams of days spent walking on the sand at the ocean and maybe even a grander family adventure that includes traveling to Africa to see a majestic lion in person!
Lily has so many other interests that make her such a well-rounded young woman. The “Top 10” countdown of the rest of her current favorite things includes: Reading non-fiction books; Painting; Baking brownies; Playing the board game Sorry; Laughing at funny jokes; Going to Christian Youth Group activities; Going to the movie theater; Pineapple; Lasagna, and drumroll please………All Things Christmas!!! Lily is such a resilient teen and is really proud of overcoming so many difficult things in her young life. She loves to try new things and rarely backs down from a challenge, which is likely why Math is her favorite subject in school! Speaking of taking on a challenge, Lily has big plans to become a firefighter someday! She’s focused on that goal and is looking forward to being able to give back to her community and help people. Until the day comes when she’ll be rescuing people from burning buildings, Lily will settle for continuing to take pride in herself for doing what she can to lift up others when they’re struggling by using her kind words and providing them a shoulder to lean on.
Lily is excited to move forward and find her Forever Home with a family who can provide her the structure, good communication, patience, guidance and level of attention she deserves. A home that’s a safe and nurturing place to come back to when life gets hard, where she always feels like she belongs, will continue to help Lily heal from her past hurts and move towards a fantastic future! Lily and her team are open to any kind of parental make-up and feel that she will do best as the only child in the home, however they may consider a family with an older sibling. Lily is a legal risk placement at this time.
If life has been pretty boring thus far and you’re ready to take on the new role of being a soccer Mom or Dad and experiencing all of the rewards that can come with parenting a teen, we encourage you to be a part of something truly life-changing and inquire about Lily today!
