Beth

from Pennsylvania

Beth is a friendly young girl who enjoys arts and crafts. She enjoys coloring, drawing, and painting. One of her favorite sports is soccer but she has not been part of a team in many years. She might like to join a recreational soccer league in her future home! She generally enjoys being outside when the weather is nice. Beth is a Christian and likes to attend church. Her favorite holiday is Christmas because she likes exchanging gifts and talking to God. Beth has spent many years being homeschooled and will be rejoining the public school community very soon. She is nervous about this transition but trying to be brave. Some of Beth’s favorite foods are Top Ramen, pizza, and spicy burritos. She also loves Takis! Two of her favorite desserts are mint chocolate chip ice cream and brownies. If Beth had a million dollars she would buy a car, a house, and more dogs for her current resource mother. Anna is a creative young girl who loves to keep her hands busy. She enjoys building LEGO kits, doing arts and crafts, and even learning about woodworking! She has been attending public school for the first time in many years and is enjoying design class where she’s made a wooden room sign and a cute storage box. She also likes art class and recently made a ceramic cookie jar. Anna likes to be active but does not have any favorite sports. She enjoys moving her body by riding her bike and taking walks. Anna loves spicy foods! Some of her favorites are hot wings and Takis. She likes animals and would enjoy pets in her future home. There is a stray cat that comes around and Anna likes to make sure it has fresh water and a bowl full of food on the porch. If Anna had a million dollars, she would donate it all to people in need. If she had three wishes, she would wish for all sick people to be well, for all homeless to have homes, and for all the waiting children to be adopted. It is safe to say Anna is a very caring young girl with a big heart for others. She describes herself as “coming out of her shell” and her resource family would agree that she has become much more outgoing and social. Beth and Anna would prefer a two-parent home as they would like to have a mother and father figure in their life. They are open to other children in the home of any age. Parental rights have not been terminated for Beth and Anna; however, when a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
