Marleigh, age 8 My Favorite Things: I like Gymnastics and playing dress up. I like to dance, I like arts and crafts, coloring, outdoors activities, and hikes. I like Math. I like making friends. Things I do not like: I don’t like to be told what to do. I don’t like needles or shots. I don’t like really bright lights. Favorite Foods: I like Macaroni and cheese (the box kind), I like Grilled Cheese. I like sausage. I like ice cream, and I like fondant. What I want in a family: I would like to have two moms. I would like living in a town. I want to have a kitten and a puppy, and a rabbit. What I want families to know about me: Sometimes I like being alone. Sometimes I need to talk about people or things that make me sad. I like to be outdoors. I like to play dress up and being silly. That we want families to know about the youth: Marleigh does well with consistency and routines. She will benefit from a two parent family with no children close to her own age. Her team is willing to consider families with older teens/young adults. Parents who are able to share parenting and support each other are recommended. Marleigh thrives on attention and affection. Parents that have a solid understanding of childhood trauma and trauma informed parenting are recommended for this child. Marleigh needs active supervision around pets.
