Emberlyn from Virginia

Emberlyn, born in 2010, is loving and caring young teenager. She always has a smile on her face and cares how others feel. Her interests are cooking and helping animals in need. She enjoys extracurricular activities such as guitar lessons, participating in wrestling, going to the horse barn after school, spending time with her friends at the YMCA, and art. Emberlyn loves to read. She enjoys going to the library to pick out books. Regarding her future, Emerlyn has expressed interest in attending college when she graduates from high school. She is looking forward to finding a forever family that welcomes her into their home and wants to adopt her. Additionally, it is important to Emberlyn that she maintain contact with her maternal and paternal grandparents. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
