Jasmine from Virginia

Jasmine is an impressionable young adolescent who has a smile that can light up a room. She is friendly and outgoing but can also be timid at times especially towards individuals that she does not know. However, Jasmine can be very social once warming up to others. Jasmine is very intelligent, independent, and strong-willed. She enjoys listening to music, reading books, and watching horror films. Jasmine is very talented and enjoys drawing. She likes to use writing to express her feelings to alleviate stress. She does well in school and has expressed some interest in after school extracurricular activities (band). Jasmine is patient with other children, especially those younger than she is and would fit in well with a family as an only child or an older sibling to younger children. Jasmine is also very close to her brother and maintaining a relationship with him is very important to her. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
