Madelin from Virginia

Madelin, who goes by Maddie, is a charismatic, social and intelligent young lady. She is a good student and is very much looking forward to going to college after high school graduation. She is interested in studying biology at college and has the goal of eventually getting her PHD. Maddie works in a local craft store. She is very talented at creating arts and crafts and she enjoys the discount that comes with her employment. Maddie is bi-lingual in English and Spanish and greatly enjoys putting Spanish-speaking customers at the craft store where she works at ease. Maddie tends to wear her heart on her sleeve. She is very empathetic with what others are feeling because she feels deeply herself. Maddie is eager to find her true forever home where she feels comfortable in being fully herself. She appreciates caregivers who can help her process through her emotions and think through her options. Maddie enjoys having pets in the home. She tends to get along with people of varying ages and personality types. In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
