Don't get your hopes up! I was in the Edna Gladney Home in 1978. There were a lot of girls there at that time, 2 full dorms. Do you have a description of your birthmom?
Gladney is a difficult search because unless we got really close to someone, we had to go by fictitious names...

Well that would be so cool if you did. All I know of her is that she
had blonde hair and green eyes. That she was in to music and singing, but something happened and she could not sing anymore, so she became really depressed. I would give anything

ok I have requested the information from gladney. I have found out that I was the 2nd child the first was aborted. She was heavy set, and she was into music and I believe that she had an album. Her father was a music profeser. My father was not in the picture at all. I have know information on him. I was 8lbs 3oz.
