thanks again for the comments. To Laurie....I respect your opinion, however what would be the difference with respect to attachement, if say he needed to have his tonsils out? The situation would be equally traumatic, would you think this would have an effect on attachment? I don't mean to sound patronizing, however this circumcision is being done so that my son can be accepted into my faith, not just for the heck of it! To Dr. Art and Dimasmom, thank you for your support. My decision has been made to circumcize my son, the only question is when. I hope to be in touch with the urologist soon. I somehow think this is going to be almost as traumatic for me as it is for him! Although I look forward to the nurturing and cuddling afterward. Tam
