Hi,
I'm planning an Agency adoption with a Utah agency. I live in central NJ and could use a reference for a good atty to do paperwork review, finalization etc. any ideas??

You can check with the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys - member list is online at www.adoptionattorneys.com. I'd call at least three in your area to compare experience, fees, comfort level, etc.

There is one AAA attorney in NJ to avoid at all cost if you do not wish heartache and a broke bank. I know many couples that dropped her or wasted precious time and money only to be heartbroken. What is your email?
To moolamed5,
I, too, live in New Jersey and am currently utilizing Steven I. Sklar from Kendall Park. He and his son run an adoption law firm. I find them to be okay and if you would like more information, please let me know.
Good luck :)
P.S. Does anyone know why these sort of websites do not allow potential birthmothers and potential adoptive parents to find one another? Why can't a birthmother express her situation and if an adoptive parent "fits" her wishes, that they cannot connect? Just curious why this is???
