I just called to speak with someone about registering and am waiting for them to call back. I appreciate your info and would welcome any that you may have or anyone else. I was in a home for unwed mothers, Woodfield, and gave birth in Bridgeport Hospital in April 41969.
This process is all so new to me and I find it all so overwhelmeing. If I'm repeating myself, please excuse me.
I had no, absolutely no, choice in that very important and life changing part of me. I didn't think I had any right, but just want her to know that I'm here and would welcome her in my life if she would have me.
Thanks
Sandi

My husband sent a letter to Woodfield now known as FSW requesting his non-ID and a woman called him claiming she was a searcher who works for FSW. She said it would be $60.00 for non-ID and $250 for a complete search. Does this sound legite? She sounded as if she already had his file in front of her and said she is very confident in her work as a searcher. Any ideas on this?
Thanks
Eliz
Hi. I have found my daughter and we've been reuinited for a month. Thank you and all members of this wonderful forum for advice and sharing.
My daughter and I, along with her aparents would like our records. I spoke with the SW who has our records and said that the case is considered closed and all records will be destroyed.
Please know that our reunion and our meeting in person very soon is more important than any records. We thought that they should be released since all parties concerned are in agreement. Do you know anything about this? Thanks to anyone that can help,
Sandi
