adoption records

Hi there,I know this is an older thread but I was adopted through International Mission of Hope in Calcutta in 1982 and looking to connect with others. Has anyone been able to find any records or information? I have a book of photos my adoptive parents purchased that show the facility and area, even some of the nurses. And I have the paperwork Cherie signed to place me with my adoptive parents. But I'd like to know more about the country at the time, IMH in general, and other experiences of being transracial adoptees in the US. My email is Pamela.bobowicz@gmail.com.
