Today we mailed all the paperwork to our agency. Originals, two sets of copies, pictures and money. They will get it to thier lawyer in Panama.
Now we wait. I have no idea how long from here for a referral. Like the rest of you, I have read it can be fairly fast but you never know for sure if what you read is true. I will of course let everyone know as soon as we hear something. I'm trying to stay calm but the closer we get the more nervous I get.

Thanks for keeping us update on your progress. Did your agency say how long it would take to get everything translated and submitted to the adoption authorities? All of our paperwork is done, we are waiting for our fingerprint appointment from BCIS. Not sure how long that whole process will take.

My husband and I just sent off our last bit of paperwork and have our I-171H. How long does it usually take Panama to translate the paperwork, our agency nerver mentioned this. The just keep sending our information to Panama as it is completed, so do they translate it one paper at a time, or only once as a set? I know this is a question I need to ask our agency, and I will on Monday. I was just wondering if anyone had info on this from there agency.
Good luck to all of us in waiting:)
