Adopting a Child Of Kenyan Heritage

Our family has been chosen by a young couple to adopt their son who will be born soon. Both parents are from Kenya temporarily in the U.S.,and the baby will be born here. This will almost be like an international adoption, but without the travel & other concerns. We are hoping to get insight from others who have adopted across cultural and ethnic lines. This is a first such journey for our family. We have 2 wonderful daughters by way of domestic adoptions, they are caucasian. Any information and resources shared would be welcome. We expect this adoption to be open with contact & visits while the birth parents are in the U.S., and letters and calls when they return to Kenya. Thanks, Peanut
