I am trying to find my half sister. My father's name was on her original birth certificate. I know her Mother's name. She was adopted from an agency in Plainfield NJ in 1969 ( i think )

No sorry he is not. He has Blonde/grey hair and blue eyes. He is Irish, German, Check., and a bunch of others as well.

What is your fathers last name>? I was born in poughkeepsie NY, july 2 1969, I was given up for adoption and I think she put his last name. the story I got was that my mother had an affair, and she got pregnant he fooled her and she end up giving me up. I was born in 1969 and I am 45 years old, I never did believe my adopted parents story they told me. My adopted mom was from NJ. Maybe there is a connection somehow. They say I was born in march of 1969,but who knows. The name on my birth cert. is Douglas Smith and my adopted mother's name was Patsy Smith
