Bulgaria Travel Requirements

I am finding that travel requirements to Bulgaria (ie. both parents or one) depend on what agency you look up. Does anyone have any other information on that? We are using Wasatch Int. and according to them only one parent is required for first trip.

Hi,

according to the Bulgarian law in the field of International Adoptions it is said that the adoptant should establish personal contact with the proposed child. This means that in case that each one of the adoptants/when they are married/ should establish contact with the child - so it's obligatory that both adoptants come to Bulgaria.
