I have been searching for my friends birth mother for several years now, I stopped for 3 years and last year my friend said she was ready to pursue the search. She has a son with some medical problems and wants information that may help his situation. Tragically last October 31, 2003, my friend was killed by a drunk driver here in Houston. I feel she would want me to continue the search and if I find her birth mother, I will tell her about her lovely daughter and how much she was loved by her adopted parents, relatives and friends. Any information would be of great assistance. Her crib name was Irene and her birth mother was 26 years old and the father was married at the time. I have found other information, but feel like her birth mother was from Okla and maybe worked in a hospital in Fort Worth as she delivered her daughter at West Texas Maternity Hospital because she may be recognizes at the one they usually used which was Harris Hospital which is now Duncan Hospital. Please help me with this gift to my decease friend. Thank you.
