The University of Hawaii has added many more photos to their on-line archive of images from the Trust Territory days. The RMI became an independent country in 1986, and joined the U.N. in 1991. These are photos from the U.S. takeover from the Japanese (in 1944-5) until the vote for independence.
The thumbnail images are B/W, and ugly, but click the .JPG link to see a better image, or download the .TIF for high resolution.
