Please, I need an angel desperatly. I have already found my adopted son, but need some advice/assistance on what to do next. He will not respond to me at all, although I am not even sure if I have been conversing with him or his father. My mother has now been diagnosed with liver cancer, just this past Friday, she was my rock when I was 15 and pregnant. More than anything, she would like to meet her grandchild. She is a wonderful grandparent, but she has always missed the boy I gave up 23 years ago. I have quite a bit of information on him and his parents, but it seems to be old now because I cannot even get their names to come up in the white pages. Need an angel to help me get more current information and to possibly be willing to contact maybe the mother. Please post or email me and I will get all pertinent information to you. Thanks Barbara

he was born 1/16/1981 in Tarrant County. He now lives in Houston. We have in fact already sent a letter to his mother, 2 weeks ago. We have not heard anything yet, but are still hoping. Thanks to everyone who offered to help. My mother is slipping fast. It is pancreatic cancer that has spread to liver, spine, kidneys. Anyone know a good P.I. in Houston? If nothing more would love to get picture of him.

I am sorry for your Mother's condition and the pain you are experiencing. I've lost both my parents and it's unbelievably sad. Take care ~ :)

I would like to thank each and every one of you who tried to help. We did send a letter to my son's mother, however. She never responded. My mother passed away on May 31, 2004 with me by her side. It came much sooner than we expected, 59 days from diagnosis to passing. Thank you for all the heartfelt words of wisdom. B Hale

B Hale; please accept my condolences in the loss of your Dear Mother. I am so sorry that you weren't able to correspond with your son before her passing. Perhaps after you've come to terms with your Moms demise you can try and make contact again.
Please know that you are in my prayers...MissyM
