Hi Everyone,
We are planning the Holiday World get together for Saturday, June 26th, 2004. It is for RMI families, but any adoptive families are welcome as well as those considering adoption.
Holiday World is in Santa Claus in southern Indiana near Jasper. It is between Evansville, In, and Louisville, Ky. Website is [url]www.holidayworld.com[/url]
We are hoping to have at least 15 people so we can get a group discount of $20.95 per person. Children 2 and under get in free. Drinks(soft drinks and water) inside the park are free and unlimited.
There is also a picnic area if you want to bring a picnic lunch. A grocery store is only a couple of blocks away.
They do have a campground nearby as well as some hotels. Also
Lincoln State Park is only a couple of miles away. The adjacent
Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial features a Memorial Visitor Center with museum and hourly film, the Lincoln cabin site, the grave site of Abraham Lincoln's mother, and the historic Trail of Twelve Stones which are open daily except, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. A working pioneer farm is open May 1 through September 30. Entrance fees are $2 for persons over age 17 or a maxium of $4 per family. For more information go to
