I am a single LDS woman (37). I have been thinking of becoming a foster
mom with hopes of adopting. My friend is LDS and single and has adopted 3 kids. She
is my inspiration. Any suggestions out there for me on where to start? I talked to my
stake president and he is supportive.

I really don't have any advice. I would suggest starting with the state if that's where you want to adopt from :)
I just really wanted to wish you good luck. I saw you posted on the "single adoptive father" thread. Hopefully the two of you can share support since you are in similar situations.
