Hi, where did you go to get your employment verified? My DH has been in the military for 17 years and we need to get the paperwork done for the homestudy agency. Any help would be great! Thanks and may your journey be short in adding a blessing to your life. Kimberly
Hi
My husband just had to have his commander write a letter verifying that he was in fact an active duty Air Force member. I think he put the number of years, his squadron information and location.
We also provided a copy of his LES with our homestudy documents.
Hope this helps, good luck

My husband got his employment verification at the orderly room. We had a specific form for them to fill out and notarize. He didn't have any problems. He also said that he could have had it done at the MPF. Good Luck.
You can also have any old clerk in personnel/disbursing provide a "statement of service" which is basically the same thing as an employment verification.
for both of our adoptions...we just had hubby's boss right there in the same office do it. I think he just said you can do it online too now (for the basic employment verification) I think he said it was the same site you can get your LES from (for AF, not sure about other branches of service)

When we did our homestudy, our agency gave us the forms. DH took it to his commanding officer and had it signed. Then I mailed it back to the agency.
Your DH should know who in his chain of command that can verify his employment.
I went w/ our local DFCS, they knew hubby was military as I was trying to get our classes done while he was in town. all they needed for us was his paystub from LES.
