Hoping to adopt with a few questions

Hi there. After over 4 years of Infertility, my husband and I are hoping to adopt an infant via an Open Domestic Adoption. My first question is in regards to Agencies. We're located in Mt Pleasant, Michigan and are hoping to work with an agency no more than an hour or so away. I would appreciate it greatly if you all could private message me or email me in regards to your experiences with different Michigan agencies, adoption costs via said agencies, and the like. Also, I'm concerned about paying for a homestudy and not passing due to financial constraints. I am a homemaker, and my husband will be bringing home about $35k this year.
