We are finally there!!! My DH and I have been waiting for a year and a half for a little boy. We finally have our match. He is three with behavior issues. We attribute them to having four moves in 2 years one being completely out of state. We go meet him in 11 days. Yep, I'm on a countdown!!! I have put together a little photo album for him and I got some toys to play with at the park including balls and plastic horseshoes and bubbles. I am so nervous about what to expect. My husband admitted last night that he is getting nervous about it too. He usually doesn't get nervous about stuff like that but he is now.
Do you guys have any ideas for our first visit? What to do or expect? Any advice will be appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Gwen

Thank you. I was hoping I could take my camera. I keep forgetting to ask but I assume we can. I'll be a little shutter bug that day. We are taking him to the park after lunch to play and I made a little photo album with several members of the family and a mini-tape recorder with my 7 year old reading a book called,"A Mother For Choco". This way he look at the pages while Jay reads on the tape. He can learn Jay's voice before even meeting him.
Talk to you guys soon,
Gwen
