yes, i've seen my birth certificate with my birthday on it, but it has my adopted parents on it. i don't know anything but that my name was heather. my dad told me that and i subtley asked if he knew my last name, but he said he only knew my name was heather. are you looking for a parent or a child?
I am helping a friend search for her husband's granddaughter. We know her name was Heather and she was born in Tennessee. The bmom's name was Sherry Street and the bdad is John Bowsman. It is the grandfather's wish to see or speak with his granddaughter.
Have you tried getting your non-id info from Tennessee?
thank you so much. i really don't know what to do though. i got the information from my aunt that both of my parents were young and in college and my father played football, i'm guessing for one of the colleges around there. she said that my adoptive parents don't know anything else either, she knows what they know. my dad did tell me that my birth name was heather. that's all i have. i don't know what else to do besides spend tons of money to get a copy of the files. i contacted a place in tennessee a few months ago, and the only information she had in the computer was that my name was heather, and she had my birthdate, adopted name, and the names of my adoptive parents, and told me that my adoptive mom signed for me. that's all she had, or so she says. i could send like $300 for them to get me more information, but then if they found them, and i wanted to meet them, it would cost another amount of $ which the amount was not given. it sucks so bad. do you have any ideas? who are you trying to find? are you having any luck?
