I am interested to see if i could find my birth mom just by this search. That would be interesting.
I was born May 12, 1982 in Newport News, VA at Mary Immaculate Hospital and adopted out when I was 6 days old. Private adoption. Birth mom told the hospital she didn't want her baby to be in the hospital more than she had to be so she wanted her baby adopted out sooner than 11 days old which was the usual age of adoption in 82.
If anyone knows who she might be, let me know!:)

Hello. Your post met my own search criteria so closely that i had to respond. Are you absolutely sure you were born in 1982 and not possibly May 2nd of 1986?

I am positive that I was born in 1982. My adoptive parents brought me home when I was 6 days old and my first social event as a baby was on May 18, 1982 when my aunt and uncle got married.
I have a hard time believing my adoptive parents, being strong conservative Christians would lie to me about the year I was born. I don't mean to sound harsh. I was happy to hear that your story was similar to what you were searching for.
I am a bit saddened that you do not match my criteria, it would be nice to connect to my birth mother one day, but maybe it just isn't the right time right now. When the right time is here, it will happen.
I pray that you are able to find whomever you are searching for.
