I was wondering what the laws for terminating the rights in NM of my kids' biodad who hasn't seen them in 3 years and hasn't paid one red cent of support EVER! He lives in CO. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here in the uk, if a birth parent has not had contact for 2 years they lose visitation rights but are still financially responsible for their kids, and a parents rights can be terminated without the other parents consent after the 2 years if the courts think it's benifical for the child (ie, step parent adoption) my daughter has seen her father 4 times in her 8 years of life and we've had no requests for visits since she was 4.
Maybe there is a similar thing in the US,
