Meet and Greets

does any one know of any meetings where SW's bring profiles to be reviewed by prospective parents? i have heard of these meet and greet type things but have yet to find one.

It's probably best to go the the State Photolistings Page, and complete your search. There you will get county agency phone numbers, and you can call and inquire about their local "Meet and Greets". Not all children are listed on the website, you may have to start a relationship with a few workers (fax them your homestudy), and tell them your family wishes, they are very eager to provide you with many matching children's profiles/photos to your e-mail or mail addresses as they come up, sometimes BEFORE they get onto the website.
