Suggestion: if you have what you feel is a "good" reason for wanting the medical history (as opposed to just "I want it"), then I suggest you petition the court which had jurisdiction over your adoption. If you go to the "Attention: Massachusetts Searching Resources" post at the top of this page, there is a number for the Mass. D.S.S. Call them and they will give you the number of the court and a contact. Talk to the contact to find out what you need to do to petition the court. You might need to show up in person, but you can probably write a letter if you get it notarized to confirm your identity (that was what I had to do).
I suggest this because even if a long shot, I can personally vouch for it, because it worked for me. I got EVERYTHING, all legal docs including full mother's name. Now I just need to get off my duff and put it to use ....
