I guess I should start by saying I'm very new to the forums here, so I'm sorry if my formatting with this isn't quite right!
I've just began the process of trying to unseal my closed adoption records, and have decided to document my attempt. I've researched this move for a very long time, and I hope to gain more than just information that is going to impact my own life.
A very big part of this process for me has been relating it to a bigger cause. I'm using my search as a basis for a very large research-based project I'm working on, and which will hopefully bring a bit more light to the difficultly of the unsealing process on some scale.
That being said-- I would absolutely love to speak to anyone privately who could offer their own insights on their adoption records and give me a bit of courage to continue to fight for mine. I also have a small survey that's assisting my research, and if I could get even 15 responses I'd be very grateful!
