i am looking for any information i can find on my late step fathers birth family, my step fathers name at birth was ___ ERNEST JOSEPH MCKENZIE..... i know that he was born July 11 1947, he was adopted in Leamington Ontario by a wonderfull family. His birth parents were of scotish canadian decent. I know his grandmother was born in 1904 and passed away in 1931 in a sanatarium in Gravenhurst ontario for Tuberculosis. He had the Childrens Aide Society involved for a little while. I know that he has a half brother out there that was born in 1950. "scott" his adopted name was a welll ajusted young man that died to young. Any help would be appricated ... I believe from what i can find is his grandmother was also buried in the Gravenhurst area, Also, i know that his mother was in the "FaithHaven home for woman" that was run by the Salvation Amry, and that he was born at Grace hospital in Windsor Ontario.
