If you are still around..I need pointers on a possible private adoption..I was born at St Joseph's Hospital 5.29.48 and was taken home by my adoptive parents 3 days later. He was a Doctor at this hospital (Eye Ear Nose and throat Specialist) in Tacoma Washington. They lived then in Lakewood on Avenue Dubois. He was 33 and My mother was 33 at the time. The adoptive Parents names are Charles E and Mary Q.(deceased 0ct 97) Marshall. The only Birth Certificate I have shows them as my parents. Any help would be apreciated.

Hi-
Have you ever sent for you sent for your non-identifying information? You definitely should do that.
There's a Yahoo group that's focused on helping people searching in WA. All you need is a free Yahoo email account. The name is "Washington State Adoption Search" and the URL is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/washingtonstateadoptionsearch.

Hi-
The Yahoo group "Washington State Adoption Search" has been re-named and, therefore, has a new Web address.
To find the group, go to Yahoo groups and search for "northwest adoption search".
We provide free search and reunion support for members of the adoption triad (adoptee, birth family, adoptive family) primarily in the Northwest (WA, OR, ID, etc).

Brian~ I could really use some help to locate who we think is my brother's birth mom. Her name is Pamela M. Soulier and she is 49...born in 1958. The only address I could come up with is 828 72nd St E but I am pretty sure that is the address of an old pub that used to be there that she used to frequent. If it helps at all, my brother was born at Tacoma General on Feb. 10th 1975 and was adopted at 4 months of age through Washington Children's Home Society. We were told that his father had tried to keep him but with his profession was unable to which is why he wasn't adopted at birth. We would like to find his father also but have no info on him other than he was a firefighter at the time. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated. My name is Tessa and I am also an adoptee. I found my birth mother through this site and I would really like to help my brother. I can be contacted by email at tessav71@comcast.net and if we end up working together then I will give you my phone number as well.
Thank you!

Have you gotten a response yet from the guy who started this thread? I have been watching it because I live in tacoma.(41yr old adoptee) I am just down the road from E 72nd. I used to cut hair around in that area. Let me know if you need some help. I have pain management during the day for a few more weeks but my evenings are pretty free.
Any of you need me to go check anything out, let me know.
Heidi
That pub has been there for a while but that is the complex where I used to cut hair and I played darts for the pub. I may not have been there when your brother was born. I can look into records, I have a friend over there, and see what was around in 1975. Cause that pub was fairly new when I played darts there in 92-94.

That was a nice post. A good service done by you. The seems to be very useful for the readers. As Mineeds01 said, it really simplifies finding affordable Attorney. I used it to find them for my business. Essentially, after I described what I needed on this site, I received several competitive bids from local Attorney. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to call around and negotiate with each, and that they actually came to me.
