My husband and I are new to the Richmond area. I would appreciate any information on agencies or lawyers in the area. We have one son that we adopted internationally but are considering domestic adoption this time so we don't have to travel (and leave our son for so long!) We want to adopt a child under age 4. Thank you!

Dima,
Welcome to Virginia. If you get a chance, check out Millie's Restaurant, 26th and Main Street, sometime. Excellent food, funky atmosphere. May not be good for a 4 year old, save it for a date night. Also have fabulous breakfast/brunch. Their banana stuffed french toast is to die for. It's our favorite restaurant there, we live 'at the beach' and drive up every few months or so.
I sent you some recommendations via PM. Also, understand that most domestic parental placement situations are newborns. If you're interested in an infant or toddler, waiting child/foster care is the way to go.

We live in the Metro Richmond area and used a Richmond based agency. In fact we just finalized on our adoption in October. Will PM you with who we used.
